TMNK draws on Tablecloth at MoMA
TMNK along with the SOSIC Collective artists AVONE, SKI, and 2ESAE were the featured artists at the opening Reception for New York MoMA’s exhibit: Design and The Elastic Mind on February 19, 2008. These prolific Brooklyn/Queens graffiti writers, and NYC street artist TMNK were selected by GRL and MoMA to demonstrate the merging/collision of technology and culture, as each artist drew live, a special laser projected them onto the museum walls, and they appeared to imprint the wall then drip like wet paint.

Flea Market, Thrifted, Recycled…

Flea Market, Thrifted, Recycled...
1. I keep finding these contraptions to hang things from when I go to thrift shops (we have 3). What are they called?

2. Flea market tablecloth turned into aprons: it is not my kind of print, but for $1 it makes great aprons.

3. Thrifted bias tape and beaded elastic for your head: the bias tape makes quick strings for the apron and the little beads from the hair band keep the strings in place.

4. My mom asked for aprons and these will brighten up her kitchen.
